The progressive cavity positive displacement pump by *Allweiler® is a quality-made rotary-style pump utilizing a rotor and stator to achieve pumping action. As the rotor rools inside the stator and a series of sealed chambers are created within the stator that move the medium being pumped easily through the pump with mimimal shear.

This screw-motion down the length of the stator by the internal rotor creates full and empty chambers down the internal structure of the stator pushing the pumped medium along and resulting in a steady, low velocity, non-pulsing flow. This action allows for the safe and effortless pumping of solids and particulate matter and the stators elastomeric construction allows for minor deformation from the solids being pumped.

Each Rotor and stator combination for an *Allweiler® Progressive Cavity pump comes in 1, 2 and 4 stage designs for increased pressure capabilities of 85 to 175 PSI on stators of equal-wall design.

*Allweiler® Progressive Cavity Pumps are available in materials such as Stainless Steel and Cast Iron casings, as well as carbon steel and stainless internal parts. The stators are available in a wide variety of specialized rubber compounds depending on your application requirements.
