The SEIM EVA Vortex series of pumps are a dynamically balanced centrifugal pump designed for the pumping of highly contaminated fluids or fluids with solids in the pumping media. The EVA Series can operate in dry conditions with no adherent affects on the pump for limited time periods due to the EVA's unique construction which holds the ball-bearings separate from the media. Their unique construction allows for a quick mount and disconnect for easy maintenance. EVA pumps are available in either vertical or horizontal mountings for your convenience. The EVA series construction creates a "Vortex" effect due to the open nature of its impeller design.It can handle up to 3kg/³ of solids in the pumped media with its standard configuration. Larger amounts of solids require specific parts such as hardened or coated pump components. |
